This website describes intelligence activities in Latin America from 1914 until the eddies of world war exhausted themselves in the early 1920s. It focuses on Germany's underground network that conducted intelligence-gathering, counterintelligence, sabotage, biological warfare, influence-peddling, recruiting, propaganda, clandestine long-range radio communications, and international courier, commerce and financial transactions, and on the US, Allied and Latin American efforts in counterintelligence, propaganda, secret diplomacy and alliance-building.
